TaxCloak looks for Social Security and ITIN numbers, EINs, names, street addresses, phone numbers, emails, bank accounts, routing numbers, dates of birth, employer and payer names, PTINs, license numbers, IP PINs, and control numbers. The same person or account keeps the same placeholder, like [SSN_1] or [NAME_A], so an assistant can still see who matches whom.

Kept
Dollar amounts, the tax year, filing status, form names, and box or line labels.
